Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, one of the daughters of musicians born in Mexico, was born to a family that was devoted to music. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music, as well old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is enthusiastic about tangos and operas. Additionally, she enjoys the dramatic stage. Ana began learning and singing musical instruments with her mother then began more intense singing training when she was 16 with renowned Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. When she moved back to California in United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before returning to her new home in southern California. She is a current member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of classical Latin American music at private concerts. She's involved in numerous local projects, both as performer and teacher, because of her love for music and art. Ana was also an ex-member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to have the opportunity communicate with other people her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will inspire younger generations to keep the music alive.
