Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21, 1983) is an acclaimed American actor. She is most famously known for her role appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After her parents divorced, she moved with her mom into Los Angeles. Although she was struggling financially and in the beginning, she made her acting debut as Rachel's Room's principal character. Her portrayal of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she was the main actor for the first two seasons, and was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace was a co-star alongside Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, decided to make the move into the world of film. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken the year 2008) on Suburban Girl and the Jane Austen Book Club. The same character was played by Grace as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace played the role as Shannon for two additional episodes of Lost including the series finale. The actress was featured in 2013's six-season of Californication. She portrays Faith who's both an avid stargazer as well as a the girl in the group. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. As a member of the Gyllenhaal family she is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and the older sibling of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began in the teen years with minor roles in several of the films of her father and starred with her brother in the famous cult classic Donnie Darko (2001). Her next appearance was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performances as the lead in Secretary (2002, erotic romantic drama), and Sherrybaby (606) Both of which garnered her Golden Globe Award nods. The year 2006 was the time she had numerous commercially successful films, such as World Trade Center. However the role she played as Rachel Dawes that brought her wider attention in The Dark Knight (2008). The role she played in Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child earned her nomination in the Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. The following years, she starred in comedies as well as dramatic movies: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Some of her other roles are as an agent for the Secret Service in White House Down 2013 as well as a singer in Frank 2014 and as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the main character. Gyllenhaal was first introduced as a director and writer in 2021, with the psycho-drama The Lost Daughter. For this film she was awarded the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award.
